Haarlem Baseball Week will return to the Pim Mulier Stadium in 2026. From June 26 to July 4, 2026, Haarlem will once again be dominated by the world's largest international baseball invitational tournament. The organization is proud to announce the first participant: Team Curaçao.
Team Curaçao is no stranger to Baseball Week. In previous editions, the Caribbean team left an indelible impression with its energetic baseball and abundance of talent. In 2022, the team even reached the final of the tournament, where it lost to Team Kingdom of the Netherlands. In 2026, Curaçao will once again travel to Spaarnestad with a selection full of quality and ambition, ready to compete for victory.
Tournament director Peter Herkemij is looking forward to the team's arrival:
“I am extremely enthusiastic about Team Curaçao coming to Haarlem Baseball Week! The energy, flair, and distinct winning mentality of this team guarantee a spectacular event. We hope to welcome many familiar names and stars of the future to Haarlem once again.”
Curaçao produces the most Major League Baseball (MLB) players per capita in the world, a unique achievement given its small population, with stars such as Kenley Jansen, Ozzie Albies, and Andruw Jones, who was recently inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame.
For decades, Haarlem Baseball Week has been known as a stage where top international teams, established stars, and up-and-coming talents come together. The event is organized every two years. The other participating countries and teams for the 2026 edition will be announced in the coming weeks.
Regular ticket sales start on February 26. More information about the program, participants, and ticket sales will follow via the official channels of Honkbalweek Haarlem.
