The measures regarding the coronavirus infection risk are far-reaching and have major implications. Tonight, Prime Minister Rutte informed the Dutch people at a press conference that regulations should be tightened even more. Until June 1, all events will be canceled.
Aware of its responsibility, the HWH board has decided that Baseball Week Haarlem will not continue in 2020. All preparations ceased immediately.
We understand that this is – as it is for us – a disappointment for everyone who cares about baseball. At the same time, we also realize that there are more important issues at this time. Health and safety are top priorities.
The next Baseball Week Haarlem will be in 2022. The thirtieth edition of this wonderful Haarlem sports event. We then go all out again. With a great lineup, full stands and enthusiastic audiences. For, by and with you!
