We have heard your comments in the past: the lines and wait times at the food and beverage outlets during Baseball Week were getting too long. The main cause was the payment process. We’ll solve that this year! During Baseball Week Haarlem 2022, we will switch to “contact and cashless” payments. That means spectators can pay for snacks, drinks and their tickets only with their debit or credit cards. Due to circumstances, we have all become more accustomed to contactless payment in recent years anyway, and with this development we hope to significantly reduce wait times at food trucks and beer and soft drink taps.
So remember: take passes (or phones with NFC connection) with you, then you’ll never miss a home run due to a long line at the fries stand!
