In the semifinals, Japan took out Chinese Taipei, while Team Kingdom of the Netherlands had to bow to the Americans in extension. The Samurai thus begin the final undefeated, but this Team USA seems to have grown tremendously in the tournament. It promises to be an exciting battle.
So, after the disappointment of missing the final – and Olympic A status – the Orange will battle Chinese Taipei for bronze on Friday. Earlier this tournament, the home team won 2-0 over the Asian visitors.
A delicious snack is also scheduled on Friday. In the Old Stars Game, the stars of yesteryear compete against each other. Expect lots of familiar faces on the field!
