This year we are trying to be as sustainable as possible. For example, we have made ticket sales digital, you can pay cashless, and we are using recyclable PET cups* for the first time this year.
How does it work?
You get a cup token when you scan your QR code at the entrance. For this, you get a cup at the bar, after which you pay for your drink. When you order a new drink, you exchange your cup for a clean one and pay only for your drink. Cups cannot be exchanged for cash. At the end of the day, return your cup to the bar or throw it in the trash can. That way, together we’ll make sure no cups end up on the ground and you’ll contribute to a sustainable event.
AND…. TOGETHER WE WILL KEEP THE BASEBALL WEEK GROUNDS CLEAN!
If you lose your cup, you pay $0.50 for a new one.
* rPET is recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET), or material made from previously used PET plastic. The cups, which resemble regular soft cups, are completely recyclable into new cups.
